North Korea has announced that it has successfully completed the third underground nuclear test, which has stirred immediate reaction of the international community who have condemned the act.
According to Pyongyang in performing the test uses a small device but did work "perfectly". Confirmation for conducting nuclear test came three hours later after registration of an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 degrees on North Korea, the U.S. Geological Survey.
"We believe that North Korea has conducted nuclear testing third," said Kim Min-seok, spokesman for the Ministry of Defence in South Korea. The spokesman added that given the magnitude of the shaking of the earth, it is believed that the explosion was 6-7 kilotonë, more powerful than the first two tests of Korea.
